On July 1, 2020, Greenville Federal Credit Union closed its Mauldin branch due to a confirmed case of COVID-19 among that location’s employees. Immediately upon learning of the employee’s positive test confirmation, all staff who had direct contact with the affected employee were sent home for quarantine and advised to consult with medical professionals. The location will be cleaned and sanitized per CDC and DHEC guidelines.
The Mauldin branch Drive Thru is now open (as of Thursday, July 2). The credit union will reopen the Mauldin lobby for limited services when it is deemed safe.
Mask use has been mandated for all credit union branch employees since June 29 and protective sneeze guards are in place throughout all member service offices.
“The credit union has two priorities during the pandemic – caring for our employees by maintaining a healthy work environment and safely providing essential service for members,” said Paul Hughes, President and CEO. “Closing the branch and sending our employees home to quarantine was the right thing to do to protect our staff, our members and the community, and we will continue to make these hard decisions without hesitation.” All employees impacted by the Mauldin branch location’s closure will continue to receive their full pay and benefits.
All other credit union branch locations and Contact Center are open for service. Online and Mobile Banking and PhoneBranch are available to members 24/7.
Visit this page for Drive Thru and Lobby hours and services available starting July 6.
Please contact the credit union at 800.336.6309 with any questions or concerns.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure a safe reopening of this branch.
