July 8, 2020 – The credit union will close its Pelham Road branch lobby from Thursday, July 9, through Monday, July 13 or potentially until further notice, to help alleviate a temporary staffing shortage due to COVID-19.
While the credit union has not received a positive test confirmation at the Pelham Road branch, staffing levels across all branches have become limited. Summer is typically a time when the credit union anticipates employees will be away for vacation or personal time, but this year is compounded by additional pandemic-related outages as employees stay home to self-isolate per DHEC guidelines, or to care for ill family members. The credit union is temporarily repositioning staffing resources to appropriately support member services until levels return to normal.
During this time, the Pelham Road branch drive-thru will remain open for service and all other branch lobbies are open for limited services. Wait times may be a little longer than normal due to staffing limitations and the Pelham Road location’s lobby closure. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for the inconvenience.
